If your pet is hiding or hard to spot, Tractive’s built-in light and sound features can help you locate them quickly, even in the dark or thick bushes. Here’s how to use these tools to bring your furry friend back safely.
How to turn on Light or Sound
To use Light or Sound on your tracker:
- In the Tractive mobile app, go to Map.
- Swipe up on the bottom bar to show more options.
- Tap Light to activate the LED, or tap Sound to turn on the buzzer. You can turn on both at once.
The sound is set at a safe volume for pets, so it can’t be turned up or down.
How to turn off Light or Sound
- Tap Light or Sound again in the app to turn them off.
- Or, press the power button on the tracker to turn either feature off.
How long do Light and Sound stay on?
- Light: Stays on for 15 minutes, then turns off automatically.
- Sound: Plays for five (5) minutes and then stops by itself.
Tips for using Light and Sound
- Try the light when searching outdoors at night, or when you’re in a dim area.
- Sound is handy if your pet is hiding out of sight, like under furniture or bushes.
- Both features work during LIVE Tracking and Radar Mode for even more accuracy.
