When the Tractive GPS tracker is turned on, you will see the address of the last position detected by the tracker. You can see this on the Map tab in the bottom bar.
The address displayed in the Tractive GPS app is automatically generated based on information provided by Google Maps (Android) or Apple Maps (iOS), as well as the estimated GPS position of your pet. This address may change as new GPS positions are reported; however, Tractive is unable to modify this address upon request.
In case the device encounters GPS interference, the accuracy of the tracker's reported address may decrease - this could happen when the tracker is indoors, for example.
When your pet is in any of the following areas:
- A Safe Zone or No-Go Zone
- A Power Saving Zone
- Within the Bluetooth range of your phone (Nearby)
the status will be displayed in the bottom bar instead of showing the detected address of the last known position.
Additionally, you can set your Home location in the app, allowing the tracker to display its location as Home whenever your pet is there. Read here to find out how to set your Home location.
