Before anything else, we want to apologize for the delays in shipping these devices, and, just as importantly, for not keeping you informed as clearly and promptly as you should expect from us.
This article explains what's happening, what it means for your order, and how we'll keep you informed going forward. We've also outlined the specific commitments we're making to prevent this from happening again.
What caused these delays?
Demand for the CAT 6 Mini was significantly higher than what we forecasted, which stretched our supply and fulfillment capabilities, resulting in the delays you're experiencing today.
With that said, this instance has highlighted several ways we can improve our internal processes around shipping and logistics—we aim to address them head-on to avoid similar delays on future shipments.
How we’re making things right
Customers whose CAT 6 Mini order was shipped 3 or more days after the estimated pre-order date (such as July 1, July 15, etc.) will receive a free, three-month Tractive subscription. This will be sent via discount code, or if you already have a subscription, we’ll apply three free months on top of your current plan. We’ll email each customer with the details of their individual free subscription.
What’s shipping and when
Below are our latest shipping timelines for the US and Europe. Should these dates change significantly, we’ll contact customers directly and update the timeline below accordingly.
Please note: Pre-order dates are associated with the arrival of stock in Tractive’s US, Europe, and Canada-based warehouses. In most cases, trackers will be delivered within 2-3 business days after arrival in our warehouse.

If you'd prefer not to wait
We'd love to get your CAT 6 Mini to you, but we completely understand if the wait no longer works for you. You can cancel your pre-order for a full refund at any time before it ships: Simply follow the instructions in this Help Center article, and we'll process it promptly. Refunds typically appear within a few business days, though timing may vary depending on your payment provider. If you purchased a subscription together with your order, there's no need to cancel it separately—it will be automatically refunded when your pre-order is canceled.
Frequently asked questions
Why do some customers already have their tracker while others don't?
Each region has its own dedicated shipping process, meaning orders in Europe may be delivered before those in the US, even if both orders were placed at the same time.

My device was delayed—what am I entitled to?
