Your tracker needs to be securely attached to your pet's collar so it stays in place during all their adventures. Here's how to get it set up.
Attach your tracker
DOG 6, DOG 6 XL
The DOG 6 trackers use a rubber mount that slides onto collars up to 3 cm (1.18 in) width.
- Slide the mount onto your pet's collar. Push one side of the collar through the silicone mount, then thread it through to the other side.
- Secure the tracker into the mount. Line it up with the mount and fit the clips into the hooks or ears on the tracker. The tracker should sit flat against the collar and not slide around.
DOG XL and DOG XL Adventure
These larger trackers also use a rubber mount, similar to the DOG 6. The mount fits collars up to 4 cm (1.6 in) width.
- Thread your pet's collar through the mount. Push one side of the collar through the silicone mount until it comes out the other side.
- Attach the tracker into the mount. Secure the tracker into place using the rubber clips. The tracker should feel secure and not wiggle when you pull on it gently.

CAT 6 Mini
The CAT 6 Mini already includes an integrated collar. Should you need to replace it, here's how:
- Remove the collar. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws on both sides of the tracker.
- Attach the new collar. Line up the new collar with the screw holes and secure it with the screws.
The CAT 6 Mini Rogz collar is specifically designed for this model and ensures optimal fit and comfort. Regular collars won't work because the tracker is built into the collar itself.
CAT Mini
The CAT Mini tracker comes with a Rogz safety (breakaway) collar, collar mount and a rubber sleeve. Choose the mount or sleeve, whichever works for you.

Important: Don’t use the rubber sleeve over the tracker and mount. This isn’t the intended use and will wear the sleeve out fast.
Always use a breakaway collar for cats. If your cat gets caught on something, the collar will release to keep them safe. The CAT Mini includes a Rogz safety collar, but feel free to use a different one.

Frequently asked questions
Can I attach the tracker to a harness instead of a collar?
Yes! Apart from CAT 6 Mini, the tracker mounts work with most harnesses. Just thread the harness strap through the mount the same way you would with a collar.
How tight should the collar be?
Your pet's collar should be snug but not tight. You should be able to fit two fingers between the collar and your pet's neck.
What if I lose my silicone mount or collar clip?
You can order a replacement from tractive.com. Simply select the model of your tracker to find compatible accessories.
Can I get free replacement for damaged accessories? I have a Premium plan and Tractive Care.
No. A Premium plan doesn’t cover replacement accessories, nor does Tractive care. You can buy replacement accessories from tractive.com.
