What is Tractive Care?

Tractive Care is an add-on coverage that protects your tracker against loss, theft, and physical damage. It gives you peace of mind knowing you can get a replacement if something happens to your tracker.

 

What Tractive Care covers

Tractive Care provides replacement coverage for:

  • Lost trackers. Your pet lost the tracker
  • Theft. Your tracker was stolen
  • Physical damage. Bite marks, drops, water damage, or other accidents
  • Manufacturing defects. Material or functionality issues past the two-year warranty

 

What Tractive Care doesn't cover

Manufacturing defects or functionality issues are covered by our two-year warranty instead, not Tractive Care.

How Tractive Care works

When you make a claim

  1. Submit your Tractive Care replacement claim.
  2. Pay shipping costs (the tracker itself is free).
  3. Receive your replacement tracker.
  4. Your subscription automatically transfers to the new tracker once you turn it on.

You only pay for shipping. The replacement tracker is covered by Tractive Care at no additional cost.

 

Replacement limits

  • Annual subscriptions: one (1) replacement per subscription period
  • Two-year and five-year subscriptions: two (2) replacements through Tractive Care

 

Subscription transfer

When your replacement arrives, your existing subscription gets transferred to your new tracker when you turn it on for the first time. You don't need to purchase a new subscription.

 


 

Adding Tractive Care

When you can add it

Tractive Care can be added:

  • During the activation process when you first set up your tracker
  • Any time in the early days of your current subscription

Available for 1-year, 2-year, and 5-year subscription plans.

Cost

When you claim a replacement with Tractive Care, you only pay for shipping. The replacement tracker itself is free.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add Tractive Care after I've already activated my tracker?

In certain cases, yes. If it’s too late into your subscription, the option might not be available to you. Wait for your subscription to renew, and then add Tractive Care.

 

Do I need to return my damaged tracker?

No, you don't need to return your damaged tracker when claiming with Tractive Care. You can keep it or dispose of it properly.

In rare cases, our support team may ask you to return your tracker to help investigate the issue. They'll let you know if this is needed for your case.


To dispose of your damaged tracker: Take it to a location that accepts electronic waste (e-waste) for proper recycling.

 

My tracker is defective, not damaged. Is that Tractive Care?

Manufacturing defects and functionality issues are covered by our two-year warranty. But if your tracker stops working due to defects or functionality issues after your warranty expires, Tractive Care can also cover the replacement.
