How big and heavy is the tracker?

The DOG 6 XL Adventure Edition measures 93 × 47 × 20 mm and weighs 100 g.

It is slightly smaller and 15 g lighter than the previous DOG XL Adventure.

What is the recommended minimum pet weight?

The DOG 6 XL Adventure Edition is recommended for dogs weighing at least 25 kg.

Are the DOG XL Adventure clips compatible with the new tracker?

No. The DOG 6 XL Adventure Edition comes with newly designed rubber clips and uses a different attachment mechanism.

For a safe and secure fit, use the clips specifically designed for the DOG 6 XL Adventure Edition.

How do I attach the tracker?

The new attachment mechanism has been simplified to make hooking the rubber clips onto the tracker easier.

Always check that both clips are securely attached before your dog wears the tracker.

Which colors are available?

The DOG 6 XL Adventure Edition is currently available in orange, including both the tracker and the rubber clips.

Which charging cable does the tracker use?

The DOG 6 XL Adventure Edition uses a USB-C charging cable.

The previous DOG XL Adventure uses a magnetic USB cable, which is not compatible with the new tracker.

How long does charging take?

A full charge takes approximately three hours.

What is the cover over the USB-C port for?

The cover helps prevent water, dust, and mud from entering the USB-C charging port.

Close the cover securely whenever the tracker is not charging.

Is the tracker still waterproof without the charging port cover?

Yes. The tracker remains waterproof with or without the cover.

However, without the cover, dust, mud, or water can enter the USB-C port. While this does not harm the tracker on its own, the charging port must be completely clean and dry before you connect the charger.

What should I do if the charging port gets wet or muddy?

Do not connect the charger while the port is wet or dirty.

Instead:

  1. Gently clean and dry the port using a lint-free cloth.
  2. Let the tracker air-dry for 24 hours.
  3. Make sure the port is completely clean and dry before charging.

Charging the tracker while the USB-C port is wet could damage it.

What do blue blinking LEDs mean?

Blue LEDs indicate that the tracker has detected moisture in the charging port.

If you see blue LEDs:

  1. Disconnect the charger or do not connect it.
  2. Gently wipe the port with a lint-free cloth.
  3. Let the tracker air-dry for 24 hours.
  4. Try charging it again only when the port is completely dry.
