There may be times when you need to update your tracker manually. If that's the case, just follow these easy steps below:
- Keep your phone's Bluetooth turned on
- Make sure your GPS tracker is charged (above 20% battery) and turned on
- Set the tracker down next to your phone and keep the Tractive GPS app open
- Allow the update process to complete

I couldn't complete the update when it came through. How can I redo it?
Not to worry - if the software update prompt is no longer visible, it's likely that your tracker has automatically updated and is currently using the most recent software version. If this isn't the case, you will receive another update prompt in the app shortly.
Why do I keep being prompted to update my tracker?
If you are being repeatedly prompted to update your tracker software and it seems like the update process is stuck in a continuous loop, please contact Tractive and we'll get this resolved.
