Tractive helps you keep tabs on your pet's well-being by tracking activity, sleep, and vital signs, as well as behaviors such as barking and scratching. This gives you a complete picture of your pet's health and fitness, so you can spot unusual changes and keep them healthy.

Tractive isn't a medical device. While Tractive monitors trends and patterns in your pet’s well-being, it's not intended to diagnose health conditions. We recommend always seeking medical advice from a vet.

Activity monitoring

Track your pet's activity levels, spot unusual behaviors, and make sure they're fit and healthy. Set daily activity goals and see how active your pet is throughout the day, over the last seven days, and in comparison to similar breeds.

See how much quality sleep your pet gets each night. Find out if they're getting enough rest and learn whether they're waking up more or less than usual. Track sleep patterns, changes, and trends to spot if something's bothering your pet.

All Health Monitoring features are in one place:

1. Open the Tractive mobile app.
2. At the bottom, go to Health.
3. You'll see status cards for each health feature.
4. Tap any card to see detailed data and seven-day charts.

What you'll see:

• Status indicators for each feature (normal, higher, lower)
• Seven-day trend charts
• Insights about your pet's patterns

Getting started

To start using Health Monitoring:

1. Make sure you have a compatible tracker (see list above).
2. Set up your pet’s profile, and make sure to provide their height and weight.
3. Keep your tracker on your pet consistently (especially during sleep and rest).
4. After at least seven days, check the Health tab to see your pet's data.

For Scratch Monitoring: Data appears immediately. You don't need to wait for a baseline period.

For other features: Your tracker needs at least seven days of data to establish your pet's baseline. Once the baseline is set, you'll see status indicators and trend charts.
