Tractive helps you keep tabs on your pet's well-being by tracking activity, sleep, and vital signs, as well as behaviors such as barking and scratching. This gives you a complete picture of your pet's health and fitness, so you can spot unusual changes and keep them healthy.
Tractive isn't a medical device. While Tractive monitors trends and patterns in your pet’s well-being, it's not intended to diagnose health conditions. We recommend always seeking medical advice from a vet.

Dogs: All cat features plus Bark Monitoring and Scratch Monitoring
Note that some features’ availability also depend on the tracker model.
How long does it take to see health data?
Activity, sleep, and scratch data appear from day one of using your tracker. Resting Heart Rate, Resting Respiratory Rate, and barking need at least seven days to establish a baseline.
Why does my app show "Learning"?
"Learning" appears while your tracker collects data to learn what's normal for your pet (typically seven days). Once enough data is collected, you'll see actual health insights and status indicators.
What does ”Sync Needed” mean?
Your tracker syncs health data to your phone via Bluetooth. "Sync Needed" means your tracker hasn't been near your phone recently, so the latest data isn't in the app yet.
To sync:
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- Open the Tractive app and go to
Health.
- On the upper corner of the screen, tap
Sync.
