Important to know
Feature availability varies by pet type and tracker model. Some features are cat-only or dog-only, and some require specific tracker models. Check the tracker feature comparison to see what's available for your tracker.
Tracking requires GPS and cellular coverage. Your tracker needs access to both GPS satellites and cellular networks to send location data to your phone.
Health features don't all send alerts. Only Activity and Sleep Monitoring trigger health alerts. For Resting Heart Rate, Resting Respiratory Rate, Bark Monitoring, and Scratch Monitoring, check the Health tab regularly to view data.
Premium unlocks additional features. Some features like Family Sharing, 365-day Location History, and worldwide coverage require Premium subscription.
Frequently asked questions
Do all features work with all trackers?
No. Feature availability depends on your pet type (cat or dog) and your tracker model. Newer models like DOG 6 and CAT 6 Mini have more features than older models. Check our tracker feature comparison for details.
Which features are only for dogs?
Bark Monitoring, Separation Anxiety Monitoring, Scratch Monitoring, and automatic battery saving are dog-only features.
Which features are only for cats?
Territory is currently only available for cats.
Do I need Premium for health and wellness monitoring?
Health monitoring features (Activity, Sleep, Resting Heart Rate, Resting Respiratory Rate, Bark, Separation Anxiety, Scratch) are available with both Premium and Basic subscriptions on compatible trackers.
Will my tracker work without cellular coverage?
No. Your tracker needs both GPS satellite access and cellular network coverage to send location data to your phone. Without cellular coverage, your tracker can't communicate with the app.
Can I use features offline?
No. Tracking and health data sync require an internet connection. Some data may be stored on the tracker temporarily, but you need connectivity to see it in the app.
