Need to update the email address on your Tractive account? Here's how to change it in just a few steps and verify the update.
Step 1: Enter your new email address
You can update your email from either the Tractive app or my.tractive.com.
From the Tractive app
- In the app, tap Account > Account Info.
- Tap Email and enter your new email address.
- Tap Change Email.
From my.tractive.com
- Go to My Profile > Login Details.
- Next to your email address, click edit (pencil icon) and enter your new email address.
- Click Save.
Getting a "You cannot create an account with this email" message? Use a different email address.
Step 2: Verify your new email address
To complete the change, you need to confirm your new email address.
- After requesting the change, open your email app.
- Look for the verification email from Tractive.
- In the email, select Verify Your Email to confirm the change.
Important to know
The verification link expires after 24 hours. If you don't verify your new email address within this time, the change won't be confirmed. Your account will continue using your old email address.
To receive a new verification link, simply repeat the steps above.
You're all set!
Once you verify, your email address is updated. You'll use your new email to log in to your Tractive account from now on.
