If you’re a resident of the European Union, you can easily request to download the tracker data of your pet from the Tractive mobile app as required by the EU Data Act. Follow the steps below to choose the time period for your data request.
Requesting Tractive tracker data is available only to residents of the European Union (EU), and only for pets you own.
Request tracker data using the Tractive mobile app
Make sure your mobile device is connected to the internet for a smooth request process.
- Open and log in to the Tractive mobile app.
- Go to Account, and select the tracker you want to request data for.
- On the Tracker Data section, select EU Data Act.
- Select how far back you want to download your data.
- Select Submit to submit the export request.
What happens after requesting the tracker data?
Processing your data request may take some time, depending on the selected period. We’ll email you once your data is ready.
How is location history different from tracker data?
The location history export contains your pet’s past locations and routes while wearing the tracker. The tracker data export includes location history and other information collected by your device.
Why am I seeing "Request limit reached"?
If you’re seeing “Request limit reached,” it means you’ve successfully requested data in the last 24 hours.
You can try again 24 hours after your last request.
