You can easily edit your personal information and profile details in the Tractive GPS app using the instructions below:
- Tap Account > Account Info
- You can now edit the following details: name, email, password, date of birth, and gender.
- Tap the camera icon to upload a new profile photo.
How to update your email address
- Open the Tractive app and tap on Account. Select Account Info to view your current email and other personal details.
- Tap on Email, then enter your new email address.
- Tap Change Email.
- Next you can choose to be re-directed to your email app, by selecting Open email app. Alternatively simply open your email app.
- Look for an email from Tractive with a verification link.
- Tap the link to confirm your new email address.
- Once verified, you’ll be taken back to the Tractive app. You’ll see a confirmation message on the Account Info page showing your updated email.
If you do not verify your new email address, you will see a reminder on the Map tab.The email verification link is valid for 24 hours only.If the link expires before you confirm, your email will not be changed. Your account will continue using the old email address. To try again, simply repeat the steps above. If your verification link has expired, you’ll be redirected to this article for help.
Address note: The address as displayed in the Tractive GPS app under Profile > Tracker > Location and on the Map page is an automatically generated address based on Google Maps (Android devices) or Apple maps (iOS devices). For this reason, it is not possible to update the address that is shown in the mobile app.
