If you purchased a tracker from our online shop and chose to buy your subscription plan immediately (before the tracker arrives), your Tractive account is automatically created during the checkout process. This account is linked to the email address you provided during purchase. This means that your tracker arrives already activated! Simply log in with the email address you used during the purchase, and you can start tracking your furry friend right away.
If you haven’t activated your tracker yet, follow the simple steps below to begin tracking your pet:
For new customers
- Download the Tractive GPS app for Android or iOS.
- Open the app and click Create Account
- Once you’ve created your account, you will be prompted to enter the tracker ID, which is the eight letters on the back of your tracker
- Follow the prompts to continue with the activation of your tracker by purchasing a subscription plan
For existing customers
- Open the Tractive GPS app
- Tap Account on the bottom bar
- Select Trackers
- Tap Add Tracker
- You will be prompted to enter the tracker ID, which is the eight letters on the back of your tracker
- Follow the prompts to continue with the activation of your tracker by purchasing a subscription plan
If you have an existing subscription plan that you’d like to transfer to a new tracker, please click here to to do so. You don't need to buy a new subscription plan when replacing a tracker.
