What do the red exclamation marks on the map mean?

Every pet owner’s worst nightmare: poison bait - small treats that might seem harmless at first glance, but are immensely dangerous for our furry friends and can even cost them their lives in many cases.

Your pet’s safety is also very important to us, so in cooperation with Dogorama (developed with Martin Rütter) we were able to integrate poison bait warnings in our app. At the moment, however, we only offer this feature in GermanyAustria and Switzerland.

To help keep other pets in your area safe in case you come across anything suspicious, you’ll only need to download the Dogorama app here:

There, you’ll also be able to mark the exact location and upload a picture. In the Tractive app, these markings now appear as a red exclamation mark symbol - once you tap on it, you will receive further information and see its location. However, you do not necessarily need the Dogorama App to view these alerts in the Tractive GPS App.

As soon as a new poison bait warning is received in your area (within a radius of 100km), you will be notified as soon as possible so you can proactively avoid the affected areas.

If you do not want to receive these notifications, you can easily deactivate them under Account > Notifications. You can also hide the markers on the main screen by tapping the map icon at the bottom left of the map view and using the slider.
