How to update your tracker

To give you the best experience possible, Tractive releases regular software updates for your Tractive GPS tracker. Typically, we roll out an update around every 4-6 weeks. 

Your tracker will try to complete the update when it is not actively being used for LIVE tracking or similar processes (e.g. overnight). 

If you do see that an update is available, you can complete it using the steps below:

  1. Keep your phone's Bluetooth turned on.
  2. Make sure your GPS tracker is charged (above 20% battery) and turned on.
  3. Set the tracker down next to your phone and keep the Tractive GPS mobile app open.
