First, follow these quick steps to get your tracker charging:

Correctly Attached: Make sure the charger is correctly attached. See Charging Instructions
- Please note: this is the most common issue of a tracker not charging, therefore, please read the Charging Instructions to ensure your tracker is connected to the charger correctly.
- Clean the Charging Pins: You can gently remove dirt or debris on the tracker and charger with tap water and a cloth or toothbrush.
- Test Other Cables & Ports: Try using a different charging cable, A/C adapter, socket and USB port.
- Ensure the Charger is Not Defective. Spare chargers and other accessories can also be purchased at the following link: Tractive GPS Accessories.
When you have followed the above steps, but your tracker does not seem to be charging this could be because:
No cellular connection
- If the LED lights up red when charging and then turns off or turns green some time later
- But the battery information in the app does not update to reflect this, this is likely due to a connection issue.
- Please check the LED status of your device and follow the tips at the end of this article to try and resolve this issue.
Long-time with no charge
- If the tracker hasn't been charged for some time, it may take up to 5 minutes for the LED to light up red.
Battery is fully charged
- When you plug the tracker into the charger, the LED will light up red to indicate that the charging process has begun.
- The LED will turn off or turn green once the battery is fully charged.

If this happens after a few seconds, this indicates that the battery is already fully charged.
