One of the great advantages of the Tractive GPS is the Virtual Fence feature: with it, you'll be notified as soon as your pet leaves a defined safe area. Follow the steps below to set up a Virtual Fence and keep your furry friend safe.

- ANDROID: In the Map view, select the desired pet and tap the fence icon in the upper right-hand corner.
- IOS: Tap Profile, then Virtual Fence.
- Tap Add a Virtual Fence in the bottom right-hand corner to set up your first Virtual Fence. A pink Virtual Fence will then appear on the map.
- Tap and hold the center of the Virtual Fence to drag it to the desired location.
- Adjust the size by holding and dragging the pink dot located on the perimeter of the fence. Note: the minimum radius is 50 meters.
- Here you can also: give your Virtual Fence a name such as Work or Home, choose between a circular or rectangular Virtual Fence, set an icon for your Virtual Fence, activate, deactivate, or delete the fence.
- Press Save to successfully add the Virtual Fence.

Multiple Virtual Fences
Please note:
- If you need two (or more) different zones for home and work or any other location you would like to mark "safe" for your pet, you can add up to 5 Virtual Fences per device.
- Additionally, you will need to set a separate Virtual Fence for each pet.
- Please ensure that the Virtual Fences set up in your account are not overlapping, as this could decrease the accuracy of the Virtual Fence notifications.
You can then view a list of all active Virtual Fences in case you have already one or more configured:
